Host Wire Adapter (HWA)
Wisair’s Host Wire Adapter (HWA) reference designs deliver high throughput Wireless USB capabilities to PCs and notebook computers, and are offered in a range of form factors, including:
- External dongle
- PCI Express Mini card or half mini card (embedded)
- Embedded module
All referenced designs are based on the WSR601 single CMOS chip, and combine RF, PHY, MAC, and Wireless USB subsystems in a small form factor to provide a cost-effective choice for manufacturers. HWA designs are fully based on Certified Wireless USB from the USB-IF, and support WUSB association models, as well as multiple data transfer types (synchronous or isochronous).
