Detect & Avoid
Detect and avoid (DAA) interference avoidance technology allows Ultra Wideband to coexist peacefully with current and future wireless technologies sharing the same spectrum, such as WiMAX or 3G/4G cellular networks. DAA is required by some regulatory bodies (Japan, Europe) for operation in some frequency bands.
Detect and avoid techniques mitigate interference potential by searching for broadband wireless signals and then automatically switching the UWB devices to another frequency to prevent any conflict.
