Wisair is a proud member of the following UWB European projects:
The Walter project intends to specify and develop the technologies required to allow the conformance testing of both products and applications against developing UWB standards, the interoperability of UWB technology with other radio technologies and finally, the emergence of new opportunities by supporting field research. Walter's partners are Wisair, Inno, ETSI, AT4Wireless, CTL, JRC, TMC and CSR.
EUWB is an industrial driven R&D consortium. The 22 consortium partner are focusing on the integration and application of advanced Ultra-Wideband radio technology in major industrial sectors such us consumer equipment, transportation, automotive and cellular networks.
UCELLS.The main objective of the UCELLS project is to study and demonstrate cellular UWB capabilities. Employing a spectrum monitoring system based on a high performance ADC, UCELLS aims to efficiently enable coexistence and compatibility of UWB-based wireless communications with existing and future mobile and fixed wireless systems.
